Let's Talk Aces !

As this is my first official post, and I've had a lot of firsts recently, I thought it would be a good time to talk about beginings, new adventures and journeys. Well let me tell you about a few of my recent new beginings and adventures ; I'm writing this on my new Chromebook which I'm trying to figure out as I go. This is a definate journey for me as I'm a bit of a technophobe. I've also just started this blog which I'm hoping is useful for you all, and that it will grow into a community over time. I'm also desperately trying to get healthier with my diet and exercise. This is proving very difficult because as the nights draw in I tend to go into hibernation mode, just like a bear, I crave high fat food and sleep . I think the common denominator in all 'firsts' is that they are uncomfortable and require effort. Change is like that. We have to try, and then try some more. Right there lies the spirit and vibe of the ace cards in the minor arcana.
The Ace of Swords - This represents the elemental energy of air. It's all about starting new projects, having new ideas, making new plans. This card is the very first spark of thought that you can build on. It lets you know that you're thinking clearly and you're very mentally sharp. If I could harness the energy of this card I would be able to read the Chromebook instructions and be able to operate and use it like a professional. As a technophobe, something is telling me that this card would probably not be in my reading!
The Ace of Wands - This card represents the elemental energy of fire. Its all about physically starting something, finding enthusiasm for a new venture, accepting a challenge. This card suggests just diving in and having fun. It's the very firs step into the gym after a long lay off, the time your trainer explains the exercise circuit and you think 'I'm up for that, bring it on'. Once again, if I could harness the sheer energy of this card my current lapse in physical activity would be a thing of the past!
The Ace of Cups - This card represents the elemental energy of water. Its all about emotional wellbeing, our feelings and relationships. This card can speak of new friendships, being in harmony with others, having compassion and empathy. It's telling you to go out there and socialise, support and help. I guess that's what I'm trying to do with this blog. I'm reaching out and trying to create a community of people that like Tarot, or are curious. New friendships, new chats, support and empathy on our journeys.
The Ace of Pentacles - This card represents the elemental energy of earth. It's all about setting a good foundation, planting a seed in good soil, security and stability allowing for solid growth. This card really asks us to get the basics right, only then can we truly grow. If I could harness the energy of this card I would be eating a perfectly balanced diet in tune with all the demands I make on my body at a physical level. Unfortunately, as I'm typing I am also eating a bag of cheesy puffs so I'm thinking this card isn't showing up any time soon!
Well I hope that made some. Please leave a comment and spread the word and share . Let's get some more subscribers and grow our little community!
